Advanced Pole System Baffles need to be 5 feet from the ground at the top.  The collar that holds on the pole comes with the baffle and the flat surface of the collar should face up so the baffles can wobble making them more effective against squirrels.  Raccoons can climb around a 6" Squirrel Baffle so if feeders are being tossed on the ground over night, get the 8" or 10" Raccoon Baffle.
